Spectators: 8483 (Terracing: 6364, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 169) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Javier Orengo got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Dom Gamble managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RACING CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dom Gamble was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 4 minutes into the game, Javier Orengo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cango's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RACING CLUB the free kick. The supporters of RACING CLUB booed when Cango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Orengo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Roches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Dima, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Dom Gamble shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Roches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Pero in the 14th minute of play forced Cango's goalkeeper Patricio Roches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Pero took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Roches. Patricio Roches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 18th minute, Lino Pero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RACING CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 25 minutes into the match, Cango's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Pero came free, but Patricio Roches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xiao Baruz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Lautaro Frigo took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Roches. Patricio Roches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When RACING CLUB's Dom Gamble in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cango's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute Lino Pero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Roches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Roches came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by RACING CLUB's Lautaro Frigo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Frigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 40 minutes into the match, Lino Pero notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Cango's Patricio Roches. Patricio Roches was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute, Lino Pero made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Roches. Cango's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lautaro Frigo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cango's goalkeeper Patricio Roches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luciano Gama hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Dom Gamble got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Roches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Pero in the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alin Dima got free with Patricio Roches in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Frigo in the 61st minute of play forced Cango's goalkeeper Patricio Roches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes Cango's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lautaro Frigo who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Dom Gamble managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Cango's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lautaro Frigo 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. Patricio Roches was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Lautaro Frigo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Frigo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Lautaro Frigo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. RACING CLUB's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cango's Patricio Roches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Pero in the 72nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, RACING CLUB's Patricio Roches threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lautaro Frigo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wilmer Peruyera charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilmer Peruyera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Cango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilmer Peruyera to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Roches was a little too slow when Lautaro Frigo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-12. In the 89th minute, RACING CLUB's Lino Pero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patricio Roches. Patricio Roches yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. After a defensive mix-up in Cango's zone, Lautaro Frigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Roches came out of the goal and Lautaro Frigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo Aballe scored 0-14 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Roches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. RACING CLUB played a much better game than Cango and deserved their victory. The Cango players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
