In the 9th match minute, Sal Rom F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mane Morentin to maneuver through the defense. Agustín Valines might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Monge Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Valines ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute Agustín Valines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monge Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monge Lima came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by GiudeCCa's Agustín Valines. But to his dismay, Agustín Valines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Monge Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos-Alberto Loayza in the 20th minute of the match. Monge Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos-Alberto Loayza's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos-Alberto Loayza in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Monge Lima saved Sal Rom F.C. from getting behind. In the 26th match minute, GiudeCCa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Valines to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Casado Calvo managed to get in a good position for a shot. GiudeCCa's supporters rose to their feet, but Casado Calvo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Monge Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tonio Gibaja hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Carlos-Alberto Loayza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monge Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos-Alberto Loayza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monge Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos-Alberto Loayza in the 35th minute of play. Carlos-Alberto Loayza struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Monge Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GiudeCCa. If Casado Calvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monge Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casado Calvo in the 45th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Carballo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Casado Calvo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GiudeCCa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos-Alberto Loayza made a kick off. Tyron Mifsud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rey Parga in the 57th minute of the match. Santiago Sedeño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tyron Mifsud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Sedeño in the 62nd minute of play forced GiudeCCa's goalkeeper Tyron Mifsud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GiudeCCa's Tyron Mifsud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Sedeño in the 64th minute of play. Tyron Mifsud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Sedeño in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Casado Calvo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Monge Lima. Sal Rom F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casado Calvo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 69th match minute, Sal Rom F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Cortinas to maneuver through the defense. Bohórquez Tejo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Sal Rom F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chucho Pravia in the 74th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in GiudeCCa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Tyron Mifsud didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chucho Pravia went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Monge Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bohórquez Tejo in the 78th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on GiudeCCa's corner Victorino Landa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Monge Lima quite easily take care of the ball. Monge Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casado Calvo in the 81st minute of play. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Santiago Sedeño sped through GiudeCCa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tyron Mifsud. Monge Lima was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Casado Calvo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 86 minute of play. Casado Calvo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Monge Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GiudeCCa. Sal Rom F.C.'s Monge Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casado Calvo in the 97th minute of play. In the 100th minute, Casado Calvo made a precise shot to the right of Monge Lima. Sal Rom F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5.
