Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Solorzano in the 12th minute of play forced Barcelona Sporting Club's goalkeeper Txomin Paniagua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Lautaro Frigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Txomin Paniagua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deimantas Jančiulis kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Barcelona Sporting Club's Txomin Paniagua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Solorzano in the 16th minute of play. When Eustaquio Solorzano came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the RACING CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Solorzano couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Solorzano in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Txomin Paniagua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute RACING CLUB were awarded a corner. Lautaro Frigo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Barcelona Sporting Club's goalie and right to Alin Dima. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Barcelona Sporting Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Eustaquio Solorzano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txomin Paniagua having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Ambrosio Tancredo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, RACING CLUB's Ambrosio Tancredo got control of the ball when Kurt Catalusci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barcelona Sporting Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roberto Mendivil in the 44th minute. A nice corner shot did that Roberto Mendivil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ambrosio Tancredo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ambrosio Tancredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alper İpekçi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustaquio Solorzano made a kick off. Txomin Paniagua made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Eustaquio Solorzano sent off a good shot on target. Eustaquio Solorzano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txomin Paniagua having to interfere. After 57 played minutes RACING CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Lara Ariztegui. Eustaquio Solorzano had several of the Barcelona Sporting Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Txomin Paniagua as he didn't even see the shot coming. Txomin Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Frigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Txomin Paniagua was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Eustaquio Solorzano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eustaquio Solorzano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After 79 minutes of play, RACING CLUB's Eustaquio Solorzano made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alper İpekçi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Tancredo having to interfere. Kurt Catalusci kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Dom Gamble blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Txomin Paniagua having to make a save. 96 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Solorzano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Txomin Paniagua. Eustaquio Solorzano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. RACING CLUB's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
