In the 35th minute, Lino Pero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Roches was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. If Eustaquio Solorzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Solorzano got free with Patricio Roches in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guillermo Aballe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Solorzano was the one to do the kick off. Patricio Roches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Solorzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Lino Pero came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the RACING CLUB fans jumped to their feet. The RACING CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. After 63 minutes of play, RACING CLUB's Eustaquio Solorzano made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Roches was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Roches was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Solorzano in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Roches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Frigo succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 12-0. In the 81stth minute of the game Alin Dima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cango's Patricio Roches was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Roches made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 16-0. There was no doubt that RACING CLUB were the better team. RACING CLUB's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
