Hincha Pelotas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvarez Pierredonda in the 14th minute. The corner led Hincha Pelotas FC's Felix Yecora to fire away a dangerous shot which Emanuel Oyaga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ismael Larrategui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Ismael Larrategui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Oyaga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ismael Larrategui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Oyaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Inter de Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Larrategui came free, but Emanuel Oyaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Larrategui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Oyaga having to make a save. Emanuel Oyaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Larrategui in the 30th minute of play. Candelario Cortina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Oyaga having to interfere. Ismael Larrategui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Larrategui in the 42nd minute of play forced Inter de Red Reign's goalkeeper Emanuel Oyaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hincha Pelotas FC's Hendrik van Eijnde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurde Cecilia in the 43rd minute of play. Hendrik van Eijnde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurde Cecilia in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Emanuel Oyaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87thth minute of the game Ismael Larrategui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Red Reign's Emanuel Oyaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Larrategui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Emanuel Oyaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Christobal Lordaliego with Loco Miquelarena as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Hincha Pelotas FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
