Sal Rom F.C.'s Xurdin Rendon got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Carballo in the 14th minute of play forced Cango's goalkeeper Patricio Roches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rey Parga came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Sal Rom F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rey Parga couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xurdin Rendon got free with Patricio Roches in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Rey Parga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Roches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monge Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camilo Ugartondo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Patricio Roches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurdin Rendon in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Rey Parga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Roches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Cango's goal looked a bit too open when Rey Parga came free, but Patricio Roches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xurdin Rendon came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Patricio Roches could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xurdin Rendon got free with Patricio Roches in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xantalen Peinado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Patricio Roches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xurdin Rendon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patricio Roches firmly grabbed it by the left post. Patricio Roches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Sedeño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xurdin Rendon scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Roches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Sedeño was the one to do the kick off. Cango's Patricio Roches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurdin Rendon in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cango's Reynaldo Moncada got a free kick in the 54th minute. Freddy Carabajo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Patricio Roches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chucho Pravia in the 57th minute of the match. Patricio Roches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Sedeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of Sal Rom F.C. booed when Cango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Moncada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Roches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurdin Rendon in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Cango's goal looked a bit too open when Xantalen Peinado came free, but Patricio Roches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Xurdin Rendon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Roches was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Patricio Roches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Sedeño in the 78th minute of the match. Patricio Roches came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Sal Rom F.C.'s Xantalen Peinado. But to his dismay, Xantalen Peinado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Cango's Patricio Roches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Sedeño in the 86th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, Sal Rom F.C.'s Santiago Sedeño made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Roches was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Roches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurdin Rendon in the 97th minute of the match. Sal Rom F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
