In the 15th minute Kenny Alströmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Díaz Bausa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Porteño Prowess FC got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Nesta. 20 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Gavilanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Obregón Cameno. Cami-Tul FC's Díaz Bausa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Alströmer in the 21st minute of play. Kenny Alströmer took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Díaz Bausa. Díaz Bausa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cami-Tul FC's Díaz Bausa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Alströmer in the 36th minute of play. Pablo Luina made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leonel Martiniana however managed to control. Zeledon Villafafila was slow to take the kick. During this time Porteño Prowess FC's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Kenny Alströmer put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Díaz Bausa. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alberto Ocomardia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Kenny Alströmer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Díaz Bausa was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, Cami-Tul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Alströmer came free, but Díaz Bausa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Kenny Alströmer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 83rd minute Willie Priest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Gavilanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Villarreal Ubach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porteño Prowess FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Villarreal Ubach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cami-Tul FC's goalkeeper Díaz Bausa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Cami-Tul FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
