Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Bargas in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxín Aedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 9 minutes, Enrique Bargas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Little Tree's Maxín Aedo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Mondragon during the 12th minute. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Iván Mesia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 29thth minute of the game Iván Mesia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Logroño's Moises Ordoña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iván Mesia got free with Moises Ordoña in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maxín Aedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Bargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alvaro Florez fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Maxín Aedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Mondragon in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Bacary Pupier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moises Ordoña. Club Deportivo Logroño's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bacary Pupier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in The Little Tree's zone, Eduardo Mondragon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxín Aedo came out of the goal and Eduardo Mondragon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of The Little Tree booed when Club Deportivo Logroño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Mondragon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Zornin Baños had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moises Ordoña. Club Deportivo Logroño's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zornin Baños was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zornin Baños in the 91st minute of play forced Club Deportivo Logroño's goalkeeper Moises Ordoña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
