Sixto Seijas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin Folgar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Bran Rocandio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LLano Sporting Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blackblue United the free kick. Bran Rocandio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Blackblue United booed when LLano Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blandón Arruta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixto Seijas took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin Folgar. Edwin Folgar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Sixto Seijas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Edwin Folgar made a huge save. 25 minutes into the game, Blackblue United's Sixto Seijas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edwin Folgar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 28th minute, Rogelio Valpuesta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Sixto Seijas took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Edwin Folgar to make any attempt to save it. In the 37th minute Sixto Seijas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Folgar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwin Folgar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixto Seijas in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, González Llarena made a precise shot to the right of Edwin Folgar. LLano Sporting Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Edwin Folgar made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Sixto Seijas sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, LLano Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Seijas came free, but Edwin Folgar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
Edwin Folgar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixto Seijas went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 55th minute, Sixto Seijas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edwin Folgar was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 59 minutes, González Llarena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blackblue United and the LLano Sporting Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of LLano Sporting Club booed when Blackblue United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Vieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Maximiliano Apellaniz from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Leonardo Maquilanda's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Edwin Folgar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Seijas, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Blackblue United booed when LLano Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Vizcarreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blandón Arruta hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Vito Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sixto Seijas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd minute González Llarena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Folgar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Sixto Seijas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blackblue United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Edwin Folgar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixto Seijas went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute of the match Blackblue United got a corner. LLano Sporting Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vito Cardoso ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 87 played minutes Blackblue United got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Vieri. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Blackblue United fully deserved thier win.
