In the 4th minute, Ruben Iglesias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olavo Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, YerBaTerOs's goal looked a bit too open when Cuero Ibañez came free, but Oswaldo Allende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Intriago Viles fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Oswaldo Allende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cuero Ibañez in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, YerBaTerOs's goal looked a bit too open when Aguinaga Casasola came free, but Oswaldo Allende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oswaldo Allende came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Revolución Joao FC's Leandro Bartoli. But to his dismay, Leandro Bartoli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cuero Ibañez's late challenge caught a YerBaTerOs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cuero Ibañez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Cuero Ibañez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oswaldo Allende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cuero Ibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

YerBaTerOs's Lucio Bruna was substituted for Xicu Treviño. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Bartoli to make the kick off. Oswaldo Allende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aguinaga Casasola in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Revolución Joao FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Leandro Bartoli hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Iglesias in the 61st minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Olavo Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Revolución Joao FC's Keith Richards was substituted for Udalaitz Anel. Revolución Joao FC's Youssef Malek was substituted for Leandro Bartoli. 70 minutes into the game, Youssef Malek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Oswaldo Allende was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Youssef Malek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oswaldo Allende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Oswaldo Allende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youssef Malek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Bruna might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olavo Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucio Bruna ran back to his position shaking his head. When YerBaTerOs's Lucio Bruna in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Revolución Joao FC's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Lucio Bruna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo Velloso. Revolución Joao FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Bruna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 90 minutes, Loco Fondos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YerBaTerOs and the Revolución Joao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Revolución Joao FC booed when YerBaTerOs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loco Fondos didn't get a good kick on the ball. YerBaTerOs's Oswaldo Allende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youssef Malek in the 91st minute of play. Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Bruna in the 94th minute of play. Youssef Malek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Allende having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. YerBaTerOs had won after a very even match.
