The audience was convinced that Maximo Villamarin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gomez Urrea was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Gomez Urrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derlis Florentin in the 22nd minute of play. Dawid Ratulowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Santiago in the 24th minute. Gomez Urrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Santiago came free, but Dawid Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leoverliz Barrutia in the 32nd minute of play forced Porvenir's goalkeeper Gomez Urrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Maximo Villamarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gomez Urrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goalkeeper Dawid Ratulowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Suscal Calleja. 38 minutes into the match, Hector Santiago dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dawid Ratulowski, 1-1. With his leg Dawid Ratulowski managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Porvenir's Arvo Joa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 44th minute of the match Red Reign got a corner. Porvenir's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xavion Sorriva ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Red Reign booed when Porvenir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urko Villaluenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gomez Urrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 47th minute of play.

Red Reign made a substitution. Ismael Blanco replaced Carlos Casemiro. When Arvo Joa came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Porvenir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvo Joa couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Santiago came free, but Dawid Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Red Reign's zone, Hector Santiago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The Red Reign fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dawid Ratulowski should have stopped the shot. Dawid Ratulowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Santiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th match minute, Red Reign was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincenty Szel to maneuver through the defense. Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Porvenir walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
