Barcelona de América's Alfred Kochowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Barcelona de América from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Barcelona de América's Alfred Kochowski got control of the ball when Espinosa Marco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Taltum FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcelo Cavenaghi in the 30th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Ralf Albäck heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Zhang Hao Qing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krišjānis Ābeļnieks, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Barcelona de América were awarded a corner. Perlaza Lena went to the cornerflag to take it. Perlaza Lena made a great header on Barcelona de América's corner, it was just that Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 39th minute, Krišjānis Ābeļnieks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zhang Hao Qing was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Espinosa Marco in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Kochowski saved Barcelona de América from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua was substituted for Krišjānis Ābeļnieks. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zayvion Ispuzua in the 56th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Flavio Cifuentes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Kochowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Zayvion Ispuzua took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Zhang Hao Qing to make any attempt to save it. Flavio Cifuentes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Kochowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Flavio Cifuentes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taltum FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Taltum FC from getting a goal against them. After 87 played minutes Barcelona de América got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Filanowski. Barcelona de América's attentive Jaroslaw Filanowski managed to snatch the ball when He Sang Jun made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Félix Fermosel in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Taltum FC's He Sang Jun. Barcelona de América's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
