Spectators: 10909 (Terracing: 8183, Seating: 2509, VIP seats: 217) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 16th minute Roneros F.C. were awarded a corner. Cordero Aberasturi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Roneros F.C.'s Ke Yin to fire away a dangerous shot which Zhang Hao Qing despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Washington Piedrahita was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 19th match minute, Roneros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Classon to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Ceberiche made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Flavio Cifuentes sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Flavio Cifuentes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Ceberiche. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Espina in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Ceberiche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Cifuentes got free with Ricardo Ceberiche in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejandro Espina to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Roneros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaume Vasquez to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes, Taltum FC's Marcelo Cavenaghi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Ceberiche came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Taltum FC reached it. Roneros F.C.'s Leonard Lamczyk was substituted for Pontus Picado. Ricardo Ceberiche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Flavio Cifuentes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ricardo Ceberiche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luzuriaga Oliver struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Ricardo Ceberiche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taltum FC. In the 71st match minute, Roneros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ortiz Apellaniz to maneuver through the defense. Taltum FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Norbert Dabrowski in the 76th minute. It was a well-played corner which Luzuriaga Oliver managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 81 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's Luzuriaga Oliver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Ceberiche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zhang Hao Qing didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bone Ascarraga went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 87 minutes, Bone Ascarraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roneros F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bone Ascarraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taltum FC's Norbert Dabrowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ricardo Ceberiche in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Taltum FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Roneros F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
