In the 14th minute Xosepe Grijan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Padrones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Espin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Ustoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Espin was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Cipriano Ustoa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cipriano Ustoa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cipriano Ustoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Espin having to interfere. Atilano Padrones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwardo Dimas in the 38th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Edwardo Dimas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atilano Padrones. ARAUCA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwardo Dimas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 42nd minute Xosepe Grijan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Padrones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Padrones stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xosepe Grijan's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After 45 played minutes ARAUCA FC got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Reizabal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xosepe Grijan to strike the kick off in the second half. Xosepe Grijan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergi Briones during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With his leg Atilano Padrones managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Suaita FC's Edwardo Dimas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. ARAUCA FC's Armando Uriarte got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Espin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Ustoa in the 74th minute of play. ARAUCA FC's Atilano Padrones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xosepe Grijan in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, ARAUCA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xosepe Grijan came free, but Atilano Padrones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwardo Dimas got free with Atilano Padrones in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Suaita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Ustoa came free, but Jonathan Espin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Edwardo Dimas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suaita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Edwardo Dimas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute.
