Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rico Perlacia in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gudesteo Insausti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Aston team defense, Ricardo Mayoral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gudesteo Insausti. The Aston team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gudesteo Insausti should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Puinaru FC booed when Aston team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Higinio Dosal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laffitte Olavarria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Dosal, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Gudesteo Insausti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Mayoral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Euloxu Ariztegui's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gudesteo Insausti firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Aston team's Alberto Honorato got a free kick in the 60th minute. Aston team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Ricardo Mayoral scored to the left of an out of position Gudesteo Insausti, making the score, 0-4. 69 minutes into the game, Euloxu Ariztegui recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gudesteo Insausti. Euloxu Ariztegui showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Mayoral in the 75th minute of play forced Aston team's goalkeeper Gudesteo Insausti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute of the match, Euloxu Ariztegui got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gudesteo Insausti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gudesteo Insausti was a little too slow when Rico Perlacia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Dosal in the 82nd minute of play forced Puinaru FC's goalkeeper Laffitte Olavarria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gudesteo Insausti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Mayoral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Rico Perlacia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puinaru FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aston team the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, Puinaru FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rico Perlacia to maneuver through the defense. The Aston team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Puinaru FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
