Evis Puebla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helder Lete, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Claus Villarreal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sidro Castañeda having to make a save. After the first half AC Kmilo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

AC Kmilo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mingo Borines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severiano Illescas struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Sidro Castañeda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Kmilo. When the match was over AC Kmilo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lo que le gusta a Carlos throughout the match.
