The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Freddy Pilas charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Pilas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Dorada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Pilas to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pirmin Rivacoba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maximo Barril kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Pirmin Rivacoba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baleren Bascal's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Baleren Bascal put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pirmin Rivacoba. Los Pollos F.C's Franko Mirabel got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pirmin Rivacoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franko Mirabel in the 38th minute of the match. Baleren Bascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pirmin Rivacoba having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Pilas was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Baleren Bascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Pollos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baleren Bascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Baleren Bascal took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Pirmin Rivacoba to make any attempt to save it. 66 minutes into the match, Dorada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baleren Bascal came free, but Pirmin Rivacoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pirmin Rivacoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baleren Bascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to Los Pollos F.C getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Baleren Bascal hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baleren Bascal in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pirmin Rivacoba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baleren Bascal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pirmin Rivacoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Dorada FC booed when Los Pollos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franko Mirabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dorada FC's zone, Franko Mirabel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pirmin Rivacoba came out of the goal and Franko Mirabel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Franko Mirabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pirmin Rivacoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baleren Bascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Pollos F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
