The audience was convinced that Filipe Sisquella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nabar Alamon was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xose Gandulla in the 21st minute of play forced Chaguarurco FC's goalkeeper Gumaro Dopazo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Bello's Maxin Estremiana couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute.
