The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vedillo Tabares couldn't finish the play. Melchor Herquinigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vedillo Tabares, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Vedillo Tabares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Balten fc booed when Malena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javiar Mezquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guilabertus Beyzania recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Guilabertus Beyzania sped through Balten fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melchor Herquinigo. Melchor Herquinigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilabertus Beyzania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balten fc's Melchor Herquinigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vedillo Tabares in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilabertus Beyzania in the 29th minute of play forced Balten fc's goalkeeper Melchor Herquinigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilabertus Beyzania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolfo Pont kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Malena's Guilabertus Beyzania in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Melchor Herquinigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilabertus Beyzania went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Melchor Herquinigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vedillo Tabares in the 43rd minute of the match. Malena's Alfonso Cavadilla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Melchor Herquinigo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Guipuzkoa Chavarri charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guipuzkoa Chavarri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Balten fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guipuzkoa Chavarri to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes, Malena's Alfonso Cavadilla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melchor Herquinigo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malena reached it. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipo Vallina made a kick off. Melchor Herquinigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vedillo Tabares, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Vedillo Tabares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Balten fc booed when Malena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 66th minute, Guilabertus Beyzania ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melchor Herquinigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a rather tough play, Balten fc's Pio Tejerizo got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Alfonso Cavadilla sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Balten fc's Melchor Herquinigo didn't even have to move. When Malena's Guilabertus Beyzania, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Malena. In the 75th minute, Balten fc's Lazcano Sole seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lazcano Sole the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Balten fc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lazcano Sole had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Balten fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Malena's Alfonso Cavadilla got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Melchor Herquinigo. Melchor Herquinigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vedillo Tabares's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Vedillo Tabares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Melchor Herquinigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilabertus Beyzania fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Herquinigo having to interfere. Guilabertus Beyzania received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Melchor Herquinigo came out and tried to block the shot, but Guilabertus Beyzania slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 92nd minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Vedillo Tabares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vedillo Tabares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Malena could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Balten fc throughout the match.
