But to his dismay, Garikoitz Puertas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Club Atletico Parisino's Ralondo Delgadillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garikoitz Puertas in the 14th minute of play. Xavion Alzorbe kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Luken Llanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Dantel Chandeiro made a huge save. A collision led to Arenal getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Laffitte Pisciña hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luken Llanos got free with Dantel Chandeiro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ralondo Delgadillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garikoitz Puertas's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute, Garikoitz Puertas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dantel Chandeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Mota in the 35th minute of play. Garikoitz Puertas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Garikoitz Puertas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Cumbres to make the kick off. Club Atletico Parisino's Javier Villafane suffered a concussion after 50 minutes and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Arenal's Gutierre Mambliga got a free kick in the 51st minute. Garikoitz Puertas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ralondo Delgadillo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Arenal's Garikoitz Puertas. But to his dismay, Garikoitz Puertas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Parisino's goalkeeper Ralondo Delgadillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Garikoitz Puertas made a precise shot to the right of Ralondo Delgadillo. Club Atletico Parisino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The supporters of Club Atletico Parisino booed when Arenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laffitte Pisciña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralondo Delgadillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garikoitz Puertas in the 88th minute. If Luken Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
