Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Agustin Valenciaga kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Javier Ibarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napier Villarreal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Ladra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Valenciaga's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. When Agustin Valenciaga came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Coconuco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Valenciaga couldn't finish the play. After having played for 11 minutes, Agustin Valenciaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coconuco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Valenciaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Agustin Valenciaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Damian's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Valenciaga came free, but Rolando Ladra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Damian getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bittor Bernaldo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Agustin Valenciaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coconuco's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Valenciaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Ladra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perez Collantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napier Villarreal having to interfere. Agustin Valenciaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rolando Ladra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Pellon in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Ladra saved Damian from getting behind. After some careless play in the Damian defense, Agustin Valenciaga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Ladra. The Damian fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Ladra should have stopped the shot. Frantzes Cordon hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Fernando Pellon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Perez Collantes was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Pellon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Coconuco booed when Damian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Besosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perez Collantes might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Napier Villarreal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perez Collantes ran back to his position shaking his head. Napier Villarreal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Ibarra in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th minute, Estebe Alcubierre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perez Collantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Perez Collantes sped through Coconuco's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Napier Villarreal. Damian's Javier Ibarra got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Coconuco were furious when Guter Balladares was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Fertus Flames placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Napier Villarreal came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Damian's Perez Collantes. But to his dismay, Perez Collantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After having played for 95 minutes, Fernando Pellon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coconuco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Pellon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Damian's Richie Besosa got a free kick in the 96th minute. Damian's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
