The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lazcano Barrio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Lourenco Millera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Domeka Araoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cortijo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Maquillales booed when Cortijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonadona Amondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cordaryal Saga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenco Millera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes, Domeka Araoz made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Maquillales's Cordaryal Saga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Domeka Araoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cordaryal Saga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Ospin Arizmendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Lagala took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lazcano Barrio. Lazcano Barrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Cordaryal Saga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonadona Amondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colas Aza charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Colas Aza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Maquillales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colas Aza to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Maquillales's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenco Millera came free, but Cordaryal Saga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuelo Quejura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordaryal Saga having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ospin Arizmendez to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lourenco Millera got free with Cordaryal Saga in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Maquillales booed when Cortijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonadona Amondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Lagala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazcano Barrio having to interfere. Lourenco Millera might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cordaryal Saga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lourenco Millera ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the game, Domeka Araoz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cordaryal Saga. Domeka Araoz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Domeka Araoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordaryal Saga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lourenco Millera's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Maule Andia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Cortijo's Domeka Araoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cordaryal Saga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Domeka Araoz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 87th minute Domeka Araoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordaryal Saga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maquillales's Cordaryal Saga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domeka Araoz in the 89th minute of play. Bonadona Amondo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cordaryal Saga came out and tried to block the shot, but Bonadona Amondo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 97th minute. The Maquillales fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cortijo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
