Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cleto Lozada got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Maquina del Mal's Errando Mendana got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Cleto Lozada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maule Caldevilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maule Caldevilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montay Arruga in the 6th minute of play. Karlos Mazas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Medero Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Todor Lasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Medero Quadros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Todor Lasso ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the game, Montay Arruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Berrio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maquina del Mal the free kick. After a rather tough play, Berrio's Montay Arruga got a free kick in the 11th minute. Medero Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karlos Mazas, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Maule Caldevilla came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Berrio's Montay Arruga. But to his dismay, Montay Arruga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 32 minutes into the game, Berrio's Montay Arruga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maule Caldevilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Maquina del Mal's Maule Caldevilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Lozada in the 40th minute of play. After the first half Berrio were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karlos Mazas was the one to do the kick off. In the 66th minute Karlos Mazas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Medero Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Maquina del Mal's Maule Caldevilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Lozada in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Berrio had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
