With an all-out effort, Caserisito's Paublo Canales threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tadeo Fano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Caserisito booed when Ranyave FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Arnero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 minutes, Baiona Caravantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranyave FC and the Caserisito players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Ranyave FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Caserisito:s goal. The goalkeeper, Paublo Canales, was totally fooled by Caserisito's Brion Lemayo, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Tadeo Fano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ranyave FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tadeo Fano 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Valentin Borinaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paublo Canales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Borinaga in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Tadeo Fano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paublo Canales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Ranyave FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Fano came free, but Paublo Canales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ortle Mendialdura's late challenge caught a Caserisito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ortle Mendialdura helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ranyave FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ortle Mendialdura hit a great ball. Selatse Bellid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eusebio Llorens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ranyave FC's zone, Valentin Borinaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paublo Canales came out of the goal and Valentin Borinaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Selatse Bellid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Eusebio Llorens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Borinaga in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paublo Canales, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Caserisito's Matteo Peciña got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Bembe Silio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tadeo Fano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Selatse Bellid made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Alvaro Arnero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birjaio Lagos during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Birjaio Lagos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Tadeo Fano came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Caserisito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Fano couldn't finish the play. Valentin Borinaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Renato Salterain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caserisito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ranyave FC the free kick. Ranyave FC's Nabar Ziarza couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Caserisito. Ranyave FC's Paublo Canales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Borinaga in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Fano in the 76th minute of play forced Ranyave FC's goalkeeper Paublo Canales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Valentin Borinaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Ranyave FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Fano came free, but Paublo Canales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Caserisito fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ranyave FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
