Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Oriente's Celino Cejudo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ceilan FC's Timeteo Arzalaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celino Cejudo in the 5th minute of play. When Corderro Feliz fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceilan FC's protests and gave Corderro Feliz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ceilan FC's Corderro Feliz got a free kick in the 6th minute. Santutxo Bodega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Unax Bullon, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Oriente's zone, Argina Valda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santutxo Bodega came out of the goal and Argina Valda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Argina Valda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santutxo Bodega having to interfere. Ceilan FC's Argina Valda got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xzaiver Alfaro's late challenge caught a Ceilan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santutxo Bodega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unax Bullon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Unax Bullon in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santutxo Bodega saved Oriente from getting behind. After 31 played minutes Ceilan FC got a freekick which was hit by Corderro Feliz. Oswaldo Arroyuelo's shot from long distance in the 32nd minute was not bad at all, but Ceilan FC's Timeteo Arzalaga knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 36th minute, Unax Bullon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Unax Bullon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Oriente's Lohitzun Cerrudemos in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ceilan FC's goalie prevented a goal. 51 minutes into the game, Ederono Sedeño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceilan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Unax Bullon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Ceilan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celino Cejudo came free, but Timeteo Arzalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unax Bullon in the 59th minute of play forced Oriente's goalkeeper Santutxo Bodega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argina Valda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santutxo Bodega having to make a save. If Unax Bullon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Argina Valda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 64th playminute. Santutxo Bodega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Unax Bullon, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Alberto Mimbreño charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Mimbreño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alberto Mimbreño hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Tanio Berdugo's late challenge caught a Ceilan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tanio Berdugo helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Argina Valda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceilan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Argina Valda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santutxo Bodega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unax Bullon had several of the Oriente's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Santutxo Bodega as he didn't even see the shot coming. Xzaiver Alfaro got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 97th match minute, Oriente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzaiver Alfaro to maneuver through the defense. The Oriente fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ceilan FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
