An unexpectedly hard shot by Maties Vara in the 7th minute of play forced Piacun FC's goalkeeper Hori Bezanilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Celso Almazan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hori Bezanilla. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Celso Almazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Piacun FC's Hori Bezanilla got control of the ball when Celso Almazan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maties Vara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Maties Vara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hori Bezanilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Zapatero booed when Piacun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quirce Ladrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maties Vara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hori Bezanilla having to interfere. Celso Almazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Hori Bezanilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maties Vara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dunixi Enestrosa was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Mel Grillo managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Piacun FC's Pabla Estremiana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Huly Monagray kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Celso Almazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maties Vara in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hori Bezanilla saved Piacun FC from getting behind. When Maties Vara came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Zapatero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maties Vara couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Piacun FC defense, Celso Almazan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hori Bezanilla. The Piacun FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hori Bezanilla should have stopped the shot. Maties Vara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hori Bezanilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zapatero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Almazan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hori Bezanilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maties Vara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maties Vara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zapatero's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
