The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vergaray Caballeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Niceto Ladrero made a huge save. Vergaray Caballeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Ladrero having to interfere. Edilberto Chavarri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edilberto Chavarri might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Ladrero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edilberto Chavarri ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Mopris booed when SERWERDER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Gox didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ospetsu Soldevilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gilabert Obina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Guillermo Gox managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SERWERDER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Gox was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mopris booed when SERWERDER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ospetsu Soldevilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vergaray Caballeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Niceto Ladrero made a huge save. Guillermo Gox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SERWERDER FC's goalkeeper Niceto Ladrero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

54 minutes into the match, Mopris's Vergaray Caballeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niceto Ladrero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Vergaray Caballeiro made a precise shot to the right of Niceto Ladrero. SERWERDER FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Edilberto Chavarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Ladrero having to interfere. Niceto Ladrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vergaray Caballeiro in the 66th minute of play. Vergaray Caballeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SERWERDER FC's zone, Vergaray Caballeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Ladrero came out of the goal and Vergaray Caballeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niceto Ladrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edilberto Chavarri, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
