Berto Sanabre started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, toño.fc's Clemente Cordon got a free kick in the 7th minute. The Deportivo Kennedy fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Deportivo Kennedy's Berto Sanabre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 15 minutes of play, toño.fc's Presebal Palmero made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niceto Zaloña was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislao Folgoso in the 19th minute of play forced Deportivo Kennedy's goalkeeper Niceto Zaloña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cresencio Iturrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berto Sanabre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Zaloña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Presebal Palmero in the 34th minute of the match. toño.fc's Cresencio Iturrate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berto Sanabre in the 40th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Orlondo Aza in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by toño.fc's Nardo Sancho. When Ricardo Leal fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Kennedy's protests and gave Ricardo Leal a yellow card for diving instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Presebal Palmero to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Stanislao Folgoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Niceto Zaloña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cresencio Iturrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berto Sanabre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berto Sanabre in the 58th minute of play forced toño.fc's goalkeeper Cresencio Iturrate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sesuldo Paradelo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Clemente Cordon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niceto Zaloña was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. In the 67th minute Presebal Palmero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Zaloña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berto Sanabre took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cresencio Iturrate. Cresencio Iturrate dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The supporters of Deportivo Kennedy booed when toño.fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Presebal Palmero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Presebal Palmero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Niceto Zaloña made a huge save. Gervasio Manjon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niceto Zaloña having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Berto Sanabre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cresencio Iturrate was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Presebal Palmero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Niceto Zaloña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, toño.fc's goal looked a bit too open when Berto Sanabre came free, but Cresencio Iturrate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. toño.fc were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Deportivo Kennedy to leave the ground with a draw.
