He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Patrick Bedford. Nalo Viego kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Oihenarte Villagomez came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Paipa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oihenarte Villagomez couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Bero Lardero fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Patrick Bedford, passed just outside the right post. Macario Mayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nalo Viego in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Nalo Viego notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Paipa's Macario Mayo. Macario Mayo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nalo Viego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Teijeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Macario Mayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Nalo Viego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zaragocilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nalo Viego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavies Cañellas during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oihenarte Villagomez made a kick off. Oihenarte Villagomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Bedford having to interfere. Patrick Bedford stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oihenarte Villagomez's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute.
