Horado Cascos started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Claudinei Deza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valcalva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia los XI del barri the free kick. After 2 played minutes Valcalva got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Deza. Lorenz Valdes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sesuldo Aostri having to make a save. Sesuldo Aostri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuzen Zugarrondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The Academia los XI del barri fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Academia los XI del barri's Lorenz Valdes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 28 played minutes Valcalva got a freekick which was hit by Bingen Mendiune. Cordearo Barquerin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sesuldo Aostri. Valcalva's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Lorenz Valdes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuzen Zugarrondo in the 32nd minute of play forced Valcalva's goalkeeper Sesuldo Aostri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horado Cascos in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Ayasti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Valcalva getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Bingen Mendiune hit a great ball. If Lorenz Valdes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vigil Asturi got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Beltran Varez. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zuzen Zugarrondo to make the kick off. Lorenz Valdess short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Sesuldo Aostri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Valcalva's Orlo Archuleta got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Lorenz Valdes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanson Armiaga charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sanson Armiaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, Valcalva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sanson Armiaga to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Horado Cascos made a precise shot to the right of Cleto Ayasti. Academia los XI del barri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Horado Cascos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenz Valdes got free with Sesuldo Aostri in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cleto Ayasti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santikurtz Amundarain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Valcalva were awarded a corner. Orlo Archuleta went to the cornerflag to take it. Lorenz Valdes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sesuldo Aostri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Valcalva's goalkeeper Sesuldo Aostri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenz Valdes. If Horado Cascos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The throw-in from Vigil Asturi in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Valcalva's Claudinei Deza. Lorenz Valdes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
