In the 3rd minute, Ignacio Munguia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 3 minutes, Madeo Fitado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bogota Juniors 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Madeo Fitado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Bacardi in the 6th minute of play forced Bogota Juniors 09's goalkeeper Firmin Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bogota Juniors 09's zone, Walme Laiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Firmin Santo came out of the goal and Walme Laiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gorri Mañe lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in GREEN CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Madeo Fitado placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Renaldo Sueiro charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renaldo Sueiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bogota Juniors 09 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Renaldo Sueiro hit a great ball. The supporters of Bogota Juniors 09 booed when GREEN CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Bobadilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cris Manglano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Madeo Fitado. Tartalo Verdejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 35 played minutes GREEN CF got a freekick which was hit by Maule Balsera. GREEN CF's Cris Manglano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Erus in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Walme Laiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Firmin Santo. Bogota Juniors 09's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walme Laiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cris Manglano made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Renaldo Sueiro sent off a good shot on target. When Salvatore Cagigas fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GREEN CF's protests and gave Salvatore Cagigas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to GREEN CF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Salvatore Cagigas hit a great ball. Madeo Fitado shot from long distance in the 43rd minute, but Cris Manglano was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. If Walme Laiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renaldo Sueiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cris Manglano having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Madeo Fitado to make the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Bogota Juniors 09's Madeo Fitado made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cris Manglano was left in no man's land by his defense there! GREEN CF's Cris Manglano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madeo Fitado in the 59th minute of play. Cris Manglano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renaldo Sueiro in the 60th minute of the match. Firmin Santo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Walme Laiz sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Bogota Juniors 09's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Walme Laiz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Capacho in the 71st minute of play forced GREEN CF's goalkeeper Cris Manglano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renaldo Sueiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cris Manglano came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Bogota Juniors 09's Madeo Fitado. But to his dismay, Madeo Fitado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Cris Manglano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frantzes Rapino in the 82nd minute of the match. GREEN CF's Cris Manglano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Erus in the 84th minute of play. When Salvatore Cagigas came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the GREEN CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvatore Cagigas couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Bogota Juniors 09's goalkeeper Firmin Santo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walme Laiz. Cris Manglano came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Bogota Juniors 09's Renaldo Sueiro. But to his dismay, Renaldo Sueiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the GREEN CF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bogota Juniors 09.
