Xavies Baruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piorno Uralde, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Loreto Lazo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Esteban Rejon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Matei Lodero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matei Lodero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Rejon in the 16th minute. Matei Lodero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Rejon in the 19th minute of the match. Junior FC's Matei Lodero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Junior FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Junior FC's zone, Esteban Rejon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matei Lodero came out of the goal and Esteban Rejon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Rejon was the one to do the kick off. Loreto Lazo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Xavies Baruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Napier Sopeña charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Napier Sopeña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute Todor Puerta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Lodero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piorno Uralde struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Xavies Baruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Junior FC. Bernardo Gorbin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Lodero having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, Junior FC's Piorno Uralde made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xavies Baruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xavies Baruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loreto Lazo in the 73rd minute of play. Loreto Lazo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Matei Lodero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todor Puerta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes, Bernardo Gorbin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DAGDA FC and the Junior FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, DAGDA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Gorbin to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes DAGDA FC got a freekick which was hit by Loi Sorondo. After having played for 86 minutes, Piorno Uralde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Junior FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Piorno Uralde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DAGDA FC's Todor Puerta got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Junior FC's Matei Lodero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todor Puerta in the 95th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piorno Uralde got free with Xavies Baruz in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
