Cauchitos
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cauchitos's Ildefonso Lassa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Melgosa in the 2nd minute of play forced Cauchitos's goalkeeper Ricardo Saracho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefano Falla's late challenge caught a Cauchitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefano Falla helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Stefano Falla got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Aquilino Melgosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Saracho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cauchitos's Ildefonso Lassa in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. The referee showed Inocencio Envito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Colombia's Xanti Montalban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Cauchitos's Ildefonso Lassa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xanti Montalban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xanti Montalban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Lassa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes Cauchitos got a freekick which was hit by Horado Fonte. Cauchitos's Ricardo Saracho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavion Bizoso in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Horado Fonte made a precise shot to the right of Xanti Montalban. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Xanti Montalban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Lassa in the 35th minute of the match. Xavion Bizoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Saracho having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavion Bizoso in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Saracho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Xavion Bizoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Serapio Arostegui notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Colombia's Xanti Montalban. Xanti Montalban was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 47 minutes into the match, Cauchitos's goal looked a bit too open when Xavion Bizoso came free, but Ricardo Saracho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Stefano Falla hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Xanti Montalban didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serapio Arostegui went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Aquilino Melgosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Saracho having to interfere. Xanti Montalban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Lassa in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xinto Cullar to maneuver through the defense. If Ildefonso Lassa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Xavion Bizoso could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Ricardo Saracho however easily saved by the left post. Xanti Montalban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Lassa, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Xanti Montalban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Lassa in the 81st minute of play. Xanti Montalban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serapio Arostegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cauchitos's Ricardo Saracho got control of the ball when Xavion Bizoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Serapio Arostegui came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Cauchitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serapio Arostegui couldn't finish the play. When Cauchitos's Ildefonso Lassa in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. Ildefonso Lassa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cauchitos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
