Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) After having played for 7 minutes, Francesco Codony managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Barrancabermeja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Codony was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cauchitos's Ricardo Saracho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Cauchitos from getting a goal against them. Francesco Codony received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ricardo Saracho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, CA Barrancabermeja's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Langarica came free, but Denis Sudupe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Francesco Codony shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Saracho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rigoberto Santillion fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Barrancabermeja's protests and gave Rigoberto Santillion a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Rigoberto Santillion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of CA Barrancabermeja booed when Cauchitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Babia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Sudupe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Langarica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Ricardo Saracho managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when CA Barrancabermeja's Salvidor Navarrete fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. CA Barrancabermeja's Denis Sudupe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horado Fonte in the 41st minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ricardo Saracho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvidor Navarrete in the 54th minute of the match. Salvidor Navarrete might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Saracho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvidor Navarrete ran back to his position shaking his head. Horado Fonte hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, CA Barrancabermeja's Imanol Terres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Saracho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Denis Sudupe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serapio Arostegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cauchitos defense, Imanol Terres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Saracho. The Cauchitos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Saracho should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Aristides Leceta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Sudupe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Orlo Olabarrieta. Ricardo Saracho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvidor Navarrete, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Cauchitos's Bernabe Babia got a free kick in the 87th minute. Denis Sudupe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serapio Arostegui in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Salvidor Navarrete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Saracho. Cauchitos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvidor Navarrete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. CA Barrancabermeja were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cauchitos for a fine match.
