City ville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavion Bizoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonatan Mimbreño was the one to do the kick off. Salvidor Fandoz came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Aquilino Melgosa. But to his dismay, Aquilino Melgosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Alberto Lesaca fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored City ville's protests and gave Alberto Lesaca a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to City ville getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alberto Lesaca hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes, Colombia's Raphael Cotillos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Salvidor Fandoz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
