Salvidor Navarrete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 played minutes Fortul FC got a freekick which was hit by Belasko Vinayo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Balaunde in the 14th minute of play forced CA Barrancabermeja's goalkeeper Denis Sudupe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Cobreros charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Cobreros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Francesco Codony struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Montrel Granell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Barrancabermeja. 29 minutes into the match, Fortul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Codony came free, but Montrel Granell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Codony struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Montrel Granell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Barrancabermeja. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvidor Navarrete made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Fortul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sancho Roa to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Salvidor Navarrete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montrel Granell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belasko Vinayo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Montrel Granell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francesco Codony went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvidor Navarrete in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Montrel Granell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Celedonio Balaunde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of CA Barrancabermeja booed when Fortul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belasko Vinayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francesco Codony in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Montrel Granell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Federico Duyos's late challenge caught a Fortul FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Duyos helped the player get up and apologised. Federico Duyos hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute Gasteiz Naveda saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. When the referee ended the match the CA Barrancabermeja players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
