Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Salvidor Navarrete started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serapio Arostegui in the 2nd minute of play forced CA Barrancabermeja's goalkeeper Denis Sudupe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Codony received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ricardo Saracho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, Cauchitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Grijan to maneuver through the defense. The CA Barrancabermeja fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when CA Barrancabermeja's Salvidor Navarrete looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 12th minute of the game, Teyo Melendez landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnalt Tijero during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Cauchitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnalt Tijero to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Salvidor Navarrete notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cauchitos's Ricardo Saracho. Ricardo Saracho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Santillion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Barrancabermeja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cauchitos the free kick. After a rather tough play, CA Barrancabermeja's Rigoberto Santillion got a free kick in the 15th minute. Denis Sudupe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serapio Arostegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serapio Arostegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Sudupe was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Filiberto Grijan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filiberto Grijan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After 35 played minutes CA Barrancabermeja got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Santillion. With a little luck, CA Barrancabermeja's Denis Sudupe got control of the ball when Filiberto Grijan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denis Sudupe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Langarica in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes CA Barrancabermeja got a freekick which was hit by Hermelando Liebana. After having played for 43 minutes, Francesco Codony managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Barrancabermeja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Codony was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serapio Arostegui to strike the kick off in the second half. Denis Sudupe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Langarica in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnalt Tijero in the 52nd minute of play forced CA Barrancabermeja's goalkeeper Denis Sudupe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA Barrancabermeja were furious when Hermelando Liebana was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denis Sudupe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Federico Duyos's late challenge caught a Cauchitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Duyos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CA Barrancabermeja's Federico Duyos got a free kick in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, CA Barrancabermeja's goal looked a bit too open when Arnalt Tijero came free, but Denis Sudupe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Filiberto Grijan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Sudupe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Federico Duyos's shot from long distance in the 81st minute was not bad at all, but Cauchitos's Ricardo Saracho knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Cauchitos's Ricardo Saracho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cauchitos from getting a goal against them. Denis Sudupe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serapio Arostegui in the 87th minute of the match. The CA Barrancabermeja players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cauchitos from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
