An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Jonatan Mimbreño got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The attack was good, but when Cuarto Arostegui in the 14th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jonatan Mimbreños short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Iparragirre Rubiero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Real's Tolino Trillanes in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye City ville's goalie prevented a goal. Baudelio Najar's late challenge caught a Real's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yader Libran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iparragirre Rubiero having to make a save. Iparragirre Rubiero came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by City ville's Jonatan Mimbreño. But to his dismay, Jonatan Mimbreño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With his leg Iparragirre Rubiero managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when City ville's Jonatan Mimbreño fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 35 played minutes City ville got a freekick which was hit by Raul Lluberas. 39 minutes into the game, Osasun Cendan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave City ville the free kick. After a rather tough play, Real's Osasun Cendan got a free kick in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Mimbreño got free with Iparragirre Rubiero in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonatan Mimbreño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Iparragirre Rubiero made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tolino Trillanes to make the kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by City ville's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leheren Gasco was slow to take the kick. During this time Real's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Real's corner Leheren Gasco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Salvidor Fandoz quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolino Trillanes in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvidor Fandoz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ezequiel Dalaje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvidor Fandoz having to interfere. Victoriano Adrian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Salvidor Fandoz. City ville's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind City ville's goalkeeper Salvidor Fandoz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raul Lluberas hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. A collision led to City ville getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Raul Lluberas hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, City ville's goal looked a bit too open when Tolino Trillanes came free, but Salvidor Fandoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Tolino Trillanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvidor Fandoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvidor Fandoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolino Trillanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, City ville's Alberto Lesaca got a free kick in the 94th minute. Salvidor Fandoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolino Trillanes's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
