The supporters of Colombia booed when Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Ruete didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aquilino Melgosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matei Lodero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Melgosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Stefano Falla got a free kick in the 35th minute. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Junior FC the free kick. When Loreto Lazo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Junior FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loreto Lazo couldn't finish the play. Xinto Cullar's late challenge caught a Junior FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xinto Cullar to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Colombia's Xavion Bizoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matei Lodero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Junior FC's zone, Xavion Bizoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matei Lodero came out of the goal and Xavion Bizoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, one of Colombia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Colombia. Iztal Guillamon tried in the game's 89th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Xanti Montalban. An annoying self made goal, 1-2. 1-3 became the score in the 92nd minute when Loreto Lazo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Xinto Cullar. If Piorno Uralde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
