Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Belasko Vinayo started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belasko Vinayo in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Saracho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pello Tamaron kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cauchitos's zone, Belasko Vinayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Saracho came out of the goal and Belasko Vinayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Cobreros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Belasko Vinayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortul FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 19 played minutes Fortul FC got a freekick which was hit by Guipuzkoa Anuncibay. In the 28th minute, Fortul FC's Sancho Roa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Saracho. Ricardo Saracho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Ildefonso Lassa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Montrel Granell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serapio Arostegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montrel Granell having to interfere. If Ildefonso Lassa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Ildefonso Lassa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montrel Granell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serapio Arostegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Lassa to make the kick off. Montrel Granell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Lassa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sancho Roa fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortul FC's protests and gave Sancho Roa a yellow card for diving instead. Sancho Roa hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Lassa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Montrel Granell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Cauchitos's Ildefonso Lassa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Montrel Granell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ildefonso Lassa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Lassa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Montrel Granell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cauchitos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortul FC the free kick. After some careless play in the Cauchitos defense, Belasko Vinayo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Saracho. The Cauchitos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Saracho should have stopped the shot. Belasko Vinayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ricardo Saracho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cauchitos's Arnalt Tijero got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Belasko Vinayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauchitos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
