Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aquilino Melgosa made the kick off and thus started the match. Denis Sudupe came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Xinto Cullar. But to his dismay, Xinto Cullar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 7th minute, Iztal Guillamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Colombia booed when CA Barrancabermeja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermelando Liebana didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Imanol Terres in the 14th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Xanti Montalban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Salvidor Navarrete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xanti Montalban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xanti Montalban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvidor Navarrete in the 21st minute of the match. If Aquilino Melgosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Salvidor Navarrete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th match minute, CA Barrancabermeja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlandus Tariego to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Ponce Guillamon in the 38th minute really tested Denis Sudupe's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Francesco Codony had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvidor Navarrete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xanti Montalban having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvidor Navarrete to strike the kick off in the second half. Denis Sudupe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefano Falla in the 54th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Xavion Bizoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Barrancabermeja's Denis Sudupe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute Francesco Codony shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xanti Montalban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Xanti Montalban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Codony in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Xinto Cullar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvidor Navarrete who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Xanti Montalban when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Salvidor Navarrete took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xanti Montalban. Xanti Montalban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Francesco Codony sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xanti Montalban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Codony in the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Salvidor Navarrete managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Barrancabermeja's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvidor Navarrete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xanti Montalban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xanti Montalban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Codony, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th play minute Francesco Codony came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Xanti Montalban. 1-3.
