Spectators: 7715 (Terracing: 5787, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) Junior FC's Piorno Uralde started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute Serapio Arostegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Lodero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piorno Uraldes short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Ricardo Saracho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Inaki Quejana's late challenge caught a Cauchitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inaki Quejana helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Inaki Quejana. Arnalt Tijero hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serapio Arostegui in the 24th minute of play forced Junior FC's goalkeeper Matei Lodero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Piorno Uralde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Saracho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loreto Lazo in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Piorno Uralde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Saracho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Junior FC's Matei Lodero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serapio Arostegui in the 32nd minute of play. Arnalt Tijero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matei Lodero came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cauchitos's Serapio Arostegui. But to his dismay, Serapio Arostegui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Cauchitos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Junior FC:s goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When Arnalt Tijero came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Cauchitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnalt Tijero couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serapio Arostegui got free with Matei Lodero in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Saracho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piorno Uralde's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. If Serapio Arostegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Napier Sopeña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haritzeder Cerra struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Ricardo Saracho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Junior FC. In the 70th minute Loreto Lazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Saracho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Piorno Uralde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Saracho was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 76th minute Piorno Uralde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Saracho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Lassa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cauchitos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Junior FC the free kick. After 78 played minutes Cauchitos got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Lassa. Arnalt Tijero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Matei Lodero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loreto Lazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Serapio Arostegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Saturnino Ruete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cauchitos's Arnalt Tijero got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Piorno Uralde made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Saracho. Cauchitos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Napier Sopeña hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
