In the 55th minute, Isauro Ruescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arano Armas hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urtzi Acebes got free with Elija Riesgo in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65thth minute of the game Osvaldo Botas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cortadera's Elija Riesgo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Osvaldo Botas put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Elija Riesgo. After 70 minutes, Urtzi Acebes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guachane and the Cortadera players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Guachane got a freekick which was hit by Urtzi Acebes. Iban Casados might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Calonge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iban Casados ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th play minute Isauro Ruescas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elija Riesgo. 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isauro Ruescas during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Firmo Pison hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Guachane defense, Iban Casados kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Calonge. The Guachane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Calonge should have stopped the shot. Elija Riesgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isauro Ruescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Isauro Ruescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elija Riesgo was a little too slow when Osvaldo Botas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 3-4. The Guachane supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guachane would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
