Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Conto FC's Xuoco Eradi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Mouricio Madariaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertol Bernardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerardo Avendaño having to interfere. Celso Barreiro hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Marcos Ozores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerardo Avendaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Gregorio Farto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Farto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerardo Avendaño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xuoco Eradi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Berbena Lechuzen FC's Fernan Cifuentes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fanuco Mensa. Fanuco Mensa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Fanuco Mensa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mouricio Madariaga in the 26th minute. If Gregorio Farto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Xuoco Eradi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Vimaro Mendialdura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Hipolito Soberon in the 38th minute really tested Fanuco Mensa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Fanuco Mensa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Barreiro in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Barreiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Mouricio Madariaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fanuco Mensa having to interfere. When Vimaro Mendialdura came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Conto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vimaro Mendialdura couldn't finish the play. Fanuco Mensa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Barreiro in the 58th minute of play. Xuoco Eradi in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jerardo Avendaño, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Celso Barreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mouricio Madariaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Conto FC defense, Mouricio Madariaga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fanuco Mensa. The Conto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fanuco Mensa should have stopped the shot. Conto FC's Fanuco Mensa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Barreiro in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Berbena Lechuzen FC's Jerardo Avendaño got control of the ball when Xuoco Eradi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerardo Avendaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleazar Ubago in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Berbena Lechuzen FC's zone, Xuoco Eradi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerardo Avendaño came out of the goal and Xuoco Eradi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Frasco Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Berbena Lechuzen FC's Quinten Titos tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Gregorio Farto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Many of Conto FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Conto FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Berbena Lechuzen FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
