Resistencia Tayrona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zafer Yalçıner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ingmar Kracke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zafer Yalçıner in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zafer Yalçıner to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Zafer Yalçıner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Cambas was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Severiano Cambas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zafer Yalçıner, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The Resistencia Tayrona FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Ospetsu Villagarcia kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Jaen Cortada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Cyprian Mitus made a huge save. There was no doubt that Resistencia Tayrona FC were the better team. Resistencia Tayrona FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
