The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedro Perdiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bladi Nobajas in the 10th minute of the match. Bizen Ponga hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Salaya in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Perdiz saved Potreritos from getting behind. In the 19th match minute, Potreritos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xose Beamud to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Bizen Ponga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The shot was stopped by Luis Perales but with some difficulty. In the 36th minute, Federico Salaya made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Perdiz. Potreritos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Pedro Perdiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Salaya in the 40th minute of play. Lluis Trielles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Perdiz having to interfere. When Federico Salaya came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Orion F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Salaya couldn't finish the play. Bizen Ponga hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Pedro Perdiz came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Orion F.C.'s Lluis Trielles. But to his dismay, Lluis Trielles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

A collision led to Potreritos getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bizen Ponga hit a great ball. Potreritos's Pedro Perdiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Potreritos from getting a goal against them. In the 75thth minute of the game Federico Salaya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Potreritos's Pedro Perdiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bizen Ponga hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savion Orbea in the 79th minute of play forced Orion F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Perales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Salaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Orion F.C.'s Montae Ribalta got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute Federico Salaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Perdiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Orion F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Orion F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
