Loramendi Anievas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bittor Goyeneta, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Vachon Vadillos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Virila Oberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vachon Vadillos in the 47th minute of play forced Chispas FC's goalkeeper Virila Oberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bittor Goyeneta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Chispas FC defense, Pastor Quer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virila Oberto. The Chispas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virila Oberto should have stopped the shot. Inter Miami were furious when Saturnino Rada was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Inter Miami fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Inter Miami:s Loramendi Anievas showed great skill when he stopped Odon Donallo:s penalty. A collision led to Inter Miami getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cedro Ganzo hit a great ball. When Medero Pineros fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chispas FC's protests and gave Medero Pineros a yellow card for diving instead. Medero Pineros kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Inter Miami's goalkeeper Loramendi Anievas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Izarra. Pastor Quer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Virila Oberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Inter Miami booed when Chispas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Medero Pineros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastor Quer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virila Oberto having to interfere. Loramendi Anievas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliciano Izarra in the 96th minute. If Roberto Guerrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Inter Miami players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
