Donzel Cuquejo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donzel Cuquejo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 39 minutes, Dalmu Olavarrieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xines Holguin was the one to do the kick off. Arias Pedron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zornin Espineiro in the 51st minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Caimán Cienaga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xines Holguin came free, but Arias Pedron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Blasi Travieso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Zornin Espineiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arias Pedron was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Niguel Varaona came out of the goal and Montrell Michelena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the game, Zion's Gasteiz Luga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arias Pedron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 83rd minute, Asteri Canal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match Montrell Michelena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niguel Varaona showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zion's Niguel Varaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmu Olavarrieta in the 85th minute of play. Caimán Cienaga FC's Arias Pedron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asteri Canal in the 86th minute of play.
