Spectators: 7721 (Terracing: 5789, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 156) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mantzio Virues kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Alvarez Moneda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvarez Moneda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Todor Luaces breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Barcelona's Ihazintu Barbot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Todor Luaces. Todor Luaces yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Todor Luaces showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmau Viniegra in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Guilabertus Lezcano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Medellín FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Barcelona's Leoncio Balaguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mantzio Virues in the 17th minute of play. If Xabat Cariga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Atlético Medellín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erauso Cerdeira to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Medellín FC's Xabat Cariga got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mantzio Virues in the 25th minute of play forced Barcelona's goalkeeper Leoncio Balaguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leoncio Balaguer came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Medellín FC's Xabat Cariga. But to his dismay, Xabat Cariga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. A sloppy throw-in by Adrio Iza in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Barcelona's Lluciano Quicedo. In the 40th minute Guilabertus Lezcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leoncio Balaguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leoncio Balaguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mantzio Virues, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 43 played minutes Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Lehior Toledo. Atlético Medellín FC's Mantzio Virues got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leoncio Balaguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hartz Monzon in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Xabat Cariga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leoncio Balaguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Atlético Medellín FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmau Viniegra to make the kick off. Leoncio Balaguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mantzio Virues in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mantzio Virues in the 59th minute of play forced Barcelona's goalkeeper Leoncio Balaguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Barcelona defense, Xabat Cariga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leoncio Balaguer. The Barcelona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leoncio Balaguer should have stopped the shot. Leizarraga Muñoa made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Barcelona's Ihazintu Barbot. Barcelona's attentive Manolito Bernalda managed to snatch the ball when Adrio Iza made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. A throw-in in the 68th minute of the game was made by Adrio Iza with Romulo Arbe as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, Barcelona's Leoncio Balaguer got control of the ball when Xabat Cariga tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mantzio Virues in the 70th minute of play forced Barcelona's goalkeeper Leoncio Balaguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leoncio Balaguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mantzio Virues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Barcelona's goalkeeper Leoncio Balaguer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xabat Cariga. Saturnin Barzana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, Mantzio Virues recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leoncio Balaguer. Mantzio Virues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Dalmau Viniegra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todor Luaces having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Manolito Bernalda in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atlético Medellín FC's Adrio Iza. Leoncio Balaguer was a little too slow when Mantzio Virues got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-7. Barcelona's Leoncio Balaguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hartz Monzon in the 95th minute of play. The Atlético Medellín FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético Medellín FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
