Ramiro Ganchegui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taurino Ramila, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrés Jara in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Ganchegui saved Akatowari SAS from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Dominic Alamasa made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Ganchegui. Akatowari SAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After the first half Manchester City FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Andrés Jara made the kick off in the second half. Akatowari SAS's Ramiro Ganchegui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Akatowari SAS from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Taurino Ramila could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Ramiro Ganchegui however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Akatowari SAS defense, Taurino Ramila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Ganchegui. The Akatowari SAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Ganchegui should have stopped the shot. Taurino Ramila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ramiro Ganchegui made a huge save. After 65 minutes of play, Manchester City FC's Taurino Ramila made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Ganchegui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulino Taran kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taurino Ramila got free with Ramiro Ganchegui in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Natalio Semprun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ramiro Ganchegui. The goal made the score 1-7. After a rather tough play, Akatowari SAS's Goyo Cores got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 89 minutes, Timo Yanguas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akatowari SAS and the Manchester City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
